There's so much to do in the Summertime!

“Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies II”, sometimes simply known as “Lullabies II”, is an entry in the World of Teddy Ruxpin Adventure Series. It was released for the Worlds of Wonder and Playskool Teddy Ruxpin talking toy and is a direct sequel to “Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies”. As with other special edition releases such as “Teddy Ruxpin Sings Love Songs” and “Teddy Ruxpin’s Christmas”, this was released as a boxed set including the animated cassette, illustrated book. However, whereas those stories contained a special outfit for Teddy Ruxpin, this set instead included a small pillow and blanket for Teddy.

Like the original “Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies”, this entry is primarily a musical compilation with brief vignettes or soundbites to segue from one song to the next.

“More Dreamy Songs For Sleepy Time.”

“Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies II” is a second compilation of lullabies sung by Teddy Ruxpin.

As with the original “Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies”, the story begins with Teddy yawning and remarking how tired he’s become. He likes to sing lullabies to help him fall to sleep and begins to sing “A Quieter Place to Be”.

Teddy continues to get sleepier as he sings “And I Love You.”

He lets out a yawn once more before singing “Sheep of Different Colors”.

Next, he sings “Tiny Friend of Mine”, and finally “In Our Airship In the Sky” and at last falls asleep.

  • "A Quieter Place to Be"
  • "And I Love You"
  • "Sheep of Different Colors"
  • "Tiny Friend of Mine"
  • "In Our Airship In the Sky"
  • As with the original “Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies”, Teddy Ruxpin is the only character to appear here.
  • This is the only entry in the Adventure Series to be featured as a direct sequel to another entry and the only one to feature a sequel number in the title.
  • The songs from this entry, as well as the original “Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies” would be featured on the Rhino Records audio cassette, “Teddy Ruxpin Sings Lullabies”.
