That's an interesting insight. I believe Teddy Ruxpin was a mixed bag with some of the animation being done in Canada at Atkinson Film-Arts, and DIC Animation City along with outsourced tweening and keys by a Japanese studio (I suspect it was Tokyo Movie Shinsha the same company that DiC used to do ...

Ohhhh yes. I follow a few Pixel artists on DA and more on Tumblr. Some of the things they do is just unreal. It's both sentimental and nostalgic but also just mind boggling the level of details you can achieve within the limitations of pixels. (if that makes sense)
