A watercolor illustration
Little Thing.
Aruzia looking at the world from a Gutang POV, older, wiser, and a lot braver. She knows she can't blow her friends cover when they infiltrate the Gutang Stronghold at the Hard to Find City. Still, she steals a long look at the countryside one more time.
I had fun making this. The paper was not cooperating with me so I couldn't build up the layers as much as I wanted to.

This is really cool! Love the colors a whole bunch. Was that plane hard to draw?

Re: A watercolor illustration
Hi there,
Hmmm good question. Yes it was hard to fly because I had forgotten initially how Gutang aircraft look. Practically speaking they aren't very practical for long distances, but this is fantasy so.. I'm gonna say "magic" and let it slide. I imagine though Gutang craft fly mainly by gliding on updrafts and the crank is just a way to gain altitude in order to catch those updrafts.
